The Department of Education was introduced in 1985, in the year of the year of the establishment of the College. The Department offers B.A. Honours Course in the year 1997-98 and Regular Course following the UG-CBCS (under Graduate � Choice Based Credit System) under Gauhati University. The students are admitted on the basis of marks obtained in the HS (10+2) standard examinations conducted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) OR Cenral Board od Secondary Education (CBCS) or any other equivalent examinations.
